The Litwood Plan is looking for any artist who enjoys art- not only their own but other forms as well.

  • Please immediately take note that there will be NO PAY for any of these jobs. It’s completely voluntary and for the love of art. However, your name will appear on the journal’s exclusive website and your personal work may be linked. Furthermore, the editors will be the first to receive payment when the journal becomes profitable.
  • Work is part-time. One may apply to work only for a stipulated amount of time such as 6 months or 1 year.
  • We favour applicants under the age of 25 as this is a youth-oriented magazine.

  1. The roles you’re interested in(no more than 3),
  2. Your work experience in them,
  3. Relevant original work(3-7 pieces),
  4. A cover letter as to why you would like to work with the Litwood Plan,
  5. Any other details required.

The e-mail should not greatly exceed 3,000 words in length.

We are looking for these positions:

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Someone who can market and manage the journal’s social media presence.

Must have some sort of experience in social media.

GENRE PROSE EDITOR

A prose editor who can handle fiction involving romance, sci-fi, action, etc. (The role can be clubbed with Literary Prose Editor)

Experience is preferred, however we would love to give new talent a chance- applicants who are the best at curating, editing, giving feedback and working efficiently will be given the post.

LITERARY PROSE EDITOR

A prose editor who can handle literary fiction(Can be clubbed with the above).

Experience is preferred, however we would love to give new talent a chance- applicants who are the best at curating, editing, giving feedback and working efficiently will be given the post.

NON-FICTION EDITOR

An editor who can handle essays, journalistic pieces, biographies, book and film reviews, etc. This role can be split into Non-fiction Editor and Reviews Editor.

Experience is preferred, however we would love to give new talent a chance- applicants who are the best at curating, editing, giving feedback and working efficiently will be given the post.

POETRY EDITOR 

An editor to handle poetry submissions.

Experience is preferred, however we would love to give new talent a chance- applicants who are the best at curating, editing, giving feedback and working efficiently will be given the post.

SITE DEVELOPER- 

An art enthusiast experienced in web page coding willing to help out.

This is a project job. The applicant will be asked to create a website for The Litwood Plan and will not be required to drop in again.

FILM CURATOR- A curator to manage the journal’s video content.

MUSIC CURATOR- A curator to manage the journal’s music content. This role may be split based on musical genres at a later stage.

VISUAL ART CURATOR – A curator to manage visual art submissions. The role may be split to accommodate specializations in different forms of art.

ILLUSTRATOR- Any form of visual artist who can adapt literature into visuals. (May be clubbed with the above role)
